Our idea of a unique Engagement Ring

At Maurice Badler Fine Jewelry, our idea of a unique engagement ring is the most elegant and simple, without being bulky, or plain, or full of swirls or angular lines.  My name is Jeffrey Badler, and I am the President of Maurice Badler Fine Jewelry. With over 35 years of experience in the diamond and jewelry industry, I have seen styles come and go.  My definition of a unique engagement has to include timeless.  I want you to enjoy the ring for many years and pass it on to your heirs.

Bez Ambar is our feature engagement ring designer.  We have been working together for almost 40 years, and together we create jewelry that cannot be found or created elsewhere.  We do it by marrying artistry and science, combining the latest in technological advances and innovative design. 

For those of you not familiar with Bez, he created the princess cut diamond over 30 years ago. Among a few of his innovations were invisible setting of square and round diamonds, micro-pavé setting technique, halo engagement rings, and the Blaze® diamond.

The Blaze diamond is an incredible invention.  I recall him telling me, “Jeff, we’ve all been focusing on maximizing the brilliance (flashes of white light) that returns to the eye. And that is good, but I like diamonds most when they disperse the light into spectral colors!”  And so, he set out to create a square diamond that would not only reflect white light but light up with fire.  Watch the video and you will see. Blaze is the only diamond ever invented that is bursting with a powerful display of color.

This ring starts with a diamond of any shape, surrounding it with Blaze diamonds.  Why does this look so amazing?  The Ring of Fire® surrounds any shape with Blaze, creating a stage on which to display the beautiful center diamond or colored gemstone.  Each ring is created individually to be a perfect fit to any shape and size center diamond and is available in platinum, 18k white, yellow or rose gold.

This is a perfect example.  The “Skirt” ring is an elegant ring that is meant to be subdued.  But turn it at a bit of an angle and you get beautiful sparkle from the diamonds set underneath.   The difference is in the details.  Fine workmanship, unique design, and simplicity.
